THE Gurranabraher man injured in an assault in Australia will return home tomorrow.
Jason Cierans, a 29-year-old construction worker from Mount Nebo Avenue, will arrive back in Cork following three months of recovery after the August 22 assault.

Jason, who will remain at home for Christmas, suffered a serious head injury when he was punched in an incident at Bondi Junction on August 22.
His dad Declan and brother Jamie returned from Australia recently.
His mum Stephanie will return with him tomorrow.
His aunt Fidelma said the family is delighted that Jason is able to return home. He was given medical clearance to fly home last month, after making great strides in his recovery after the assault. His full recovery could take up to two years.
Doctors have recommended that he return to light work shortly, for an initial three hours a week. He was discharged from hospital in early October.
An Argentinean man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm to Jason. Fundraising for the family was halted last month when the good news about Jason’s condition emerged, because he will not require any further funds.
