It was revealed earlier today that the ESB would release water from its hydroelectric dam in Co Cork.

There had been fears that the Kingsley hotel, located on the Carrigrohane Road, may fall victim to the flooding.
The building was severely damaged in a previous flood.

However, the five-star hotel reassured customers that it was business as usual.
